An opportunity to help one of Owen Sound’s historic heritage creating and maintaining costumes worn by volunteers in historic interpretation sites. Suitable for ages 16 and up. Should have some sewing experience and an ability to read patterns.

| Duties | •Research period fashions (both male and female) and accessories •Research appropriate patterns •Sew historic costumes •Fit and alter costumes for costumed staff •Advise if costumes need to be cleaned and/or laundered •Repair damaged or worn costumes pieces •Maintain a catalogue of costumes |
| Benefits | You will be helping to bring history to life. Use your sewing skills for the benefit of Museum costumed staff and visitors. Visit the museum at no charge. Receive monthly Enews and quarterly Museum updates. Annual Summer Volunteer recognition event and Christmas Volunteer Appreciation luncheon. |
